Creative & Session Fee
Your portrait experience begins long before you step in front of the camera. The $395 session fee covers the planning, artistry, professional guidance, and personalized attention that go into creating a session designed specifically for you.

A personalized consultation
We begin with a conversation about how you want to be photographed, what you would like your portraits to convey, and the vision we will create together.
Creative direction and session planning
Your session is thoughtfully designed around you—from the overall aesthetic and mood to backgrounds, styling, and the details that will make your portraits feel distinctly personal.
Wardrobe and styling guidance
You will receive guidance in selecting clothing, colors, accessories, and looks that photograph beautifully and complement the vision for your session.
Professional makeup artistry
Professional makeup is included to help you arrive camera-ready while still looking and feeling like yourself.
A fully guided portrait session
You never need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. You will be guided throughout the entire experience with direction for posing, expression, movement, body language, and the subtle details that create polished, flattering portraits.
Multiple looks and creative variety
As appropriate for your session, we will create a range of expressions, poses, styling, and imagery so that your final collection feels varied while remaining cohesive and intentional.
Professional lighting and photographic artistry
Every image is created with careful attention to lighting, composition, posing, and detail—the elements that transform a photograph into a beautifully crafted portrait.
A personalized image-selection experience
After your session, you will be guided through your photographs so you can select the images you love most and choose how you would like to enjoy them.
Your Photographs Are Chosen Separately
The $395 session fee covers the portrait experience and creative services described above. It does not include digital images, prints, albums, wall art, or other finished portrait products.
Following your session, you will select and purchase the photographs and portrait products you love. This allows your final collection to be completely customized to you—whether you choose a small collection of favorite images or create an heirloom collection designed to be enjoyed for generations.
Your investment begins with the experience. What you take home is entirely your own.
Portrait collections begin at $1000. Most clients invest between $1800 and $2500 in their finished portraits.
Portraits and finished artwork are purchased separately allowing you to create a collection that reflects what you love most.

You’ll receive a styling guide, color recommendations, and personalized guidance based on your session type and goals. You’re also welcome to bring multiple outfits so we can create a range of looks that feel true to you.

Professional makeup is ncluded with your session.
Your makeup artist for your shoot will create a polished, camera-ready look that enhances your features and aligns with the mood of your portraits. You’ll feel confident, relaxed, and fully prepared before we even begin shooting.
Hair styling, curling is available. Given the range of hair styles and textures, I suggest rebraiding, trims, change in hair color, etc. be done days prior to your session.

Most clients are everyday people, not models. You’ll receive gentle, expert posing guidance the entire time—from how to stand and where to place your hands, to the expressions that flatter you most. You’ll be in a relaxed environment so you feel supported and comfortable throughout your session.
